After an unexpected trip to the emergency room, Barbra learned she had stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. She sought a second opinion at City of Hope and later returned when her local care team told her there were no additional treatment options available. While she spent her first Walk for Hope in treatment and volunteered the following year, this year she plans to walk the event herself. Today, she supports Walk for Hope to help future patients access the same research, care and treatment options that helped her.
