In 2020, Karyn’s life was upended by a diagnosis: stage 3 breast cancer. She was young, healthy, and didn’t expect cancer to derail everything. At City of Hope, she found seamless, personalized care, with every service and doctor working together so she could focus on healing. Surrounded by family and friends who lifted her up, Karyn discovered the power of caregiving and community. She joins Walk for Hope to honor the support she received and to give back to those who saved her life.
